We recently put together this great behind the scenes piece with our multi-talented visual FX guru (and previous Emmy Award nominee), Jim Lima.

  1. Hey Folks

I recently made a t-shirt about the 132nd SOC. It’s up for sale now at

    Acedhttp://www.zazzle.com/132nd_s_o_c_shirt-235940776994017062

It incorporates the unit emblem as seen on Derek’s uniform here:

So take a look and order now if you plan on getting it for the Holidays. Hope you enjoy it! I had a lot of fun making it.

  2. It seems I was typing too fast for my own good. =) The shirt is up for sale at this website:

  3. awesome!!!
    i love special effects!

  4. Jim Lima is a genius…!

  5. Yay for Jim Lima and his team! Was wondering all the ins and outs of how that shot with Cromartie’s head blown off was done. That’s a lot of makeup/green screen cover Garrett had to wear - what a trooper!

  6. Yeah, I think the Cromartie death scene might be the best piece of visual FX we have seen on this show to date. Very amazing stuff. I can’t wait to see more mimemtic poly-alloy action from Weaver too (loved the kiss scene).
