Just wanted to take a moment and thank all you loyal T:SCC fans that are followers of this little pet project/blog. Your open and frank discussions on the characters, stories, and complex themes of this series has thus far been respectful of each other as well as reflective of the high caliber of you, our friend. While you frequently express differing points of view, you do so in an honest and intelligent manner. Please know that does not go unnoticed.
You not only encourage us to meet and further challenge expectations on screen, but also to continue knocking down the walls that have traditionally separated fans and producers/writers/cast. As we near the end of our initial thirteen episodes (don’t worry, we’re not off the air that long), we hope to be able to announce some exciting endeavors to keep us all involved during the break. Hang in there, baby.
How meta is it to comment on a thread about commenting? Whoa.
I’ve been perpetually surprised and impressed at the calibre of people posting on this blog. I love seeing new comments and seeing what others think and always try to check back when I get the chance. Thanks for giving us such a cool place to do this.
Ya all are rockstars… that’s pretty much all there is to it
Not off the air that long? O.o I wish you guys could be there every day! I’m already going through withdrawals.
Yeah, I know, way to sound crazy.
Anyway, I think this blog, what it represents, is outstanding. The fact that we fans are given access to so many things that go on behind cameras - so many interesting things about and from the team - and that we’re able to discuss the show is great. Your initiative is commendable, and much appreciated. You guys rock!
“we hope to be able to announce some exciting endeavors to keep us all involved during the break.”
Thank goodness because no Sarah Connor at all would be almost as sad/bad as J-Day.
And, as long as you’re listening, not all of us hate Riley. You’ve got a family of three in NJ that finds her character unique and interesting. She’s not like other girls and that’s a good thing.
Thanks for listening. You guys are worth the effort. I promote this show far and wide.
Your communication to the fans is appreciated also. Thanks to everyone involved here.
The consistent updates are very much appreciated.
This blog is the best kind of communication between showrunners and fans. I’m proud of Fox for leaving it up, and I’m thrilled that you guys remain so honest.
I may not always participate in the thematic discussions, since my time is so limited, but your show never fails to consistently impress myself and my friends as you unravel more and more as time goes on.
It’s a thrill to be in the digital age and be able to talk to people who make us the shows we love and adore, and you guys specifically are very eloquent, intelligent, and deep. This week’s episode was just another amazing show of how much thought you put into your work. As a fan I’d like to thank you as well for putting down quality thoughtful, philosophically engaging entertainment from a show that could’ve just been a Termi-Of-The-Week beatdown show. To say that we’ve been consistently impressed is a massive understatement. You should take a moment to pat yourselves on the back as well.
(I hope beyond hope that the boys over at Terminator: Salvation are putting as much thought into their new flick.)
Commenting on commenting! How cool is that?!
I’m normally a shy person online, but I love to come here and comment, even if it’s just to say hello and I’m always watching! Just because I know you guys are reading these comments on the other end and do appreciate it. It’s so easy to be a fan of SCC not only because of it’s top notch acting/writing/directing and every other -ing I can think of, but because those who make the show love it as much as we do! Thanks for the awesome season 1 and season 2 (so far!) and I’m eagerly looking forward to more come February!
Your great show was the topic of conversation during lunch. I decided to poke around the Fox website and found this wonderful blog. Keep up the great work!
we lubb u!!!
thanks for making sucha great show
we love blogging its fun!!!
Huh, we commenters have an influence on you guys?
Sweet.
Now how about introducing that Terminator vs Predator crossover.
Yep, there’s a good bunch of people here and the respect the writers have for those of us here is nothing short of amazing, strange the site hasn’t been overrun yet numbers-wise.
Looking forward to any new ideas of experimental stuff the writers might be thinking of….
I love that you guys listen to the fans and interact with us. Don’t be fooled by the ratings, every great show I loved was always endangered and this show is no different. It’s always the dumbed down shows that survive.
You couldn’t have done this show any better but I have one suggestion that might improve it. More Cameron!!! We need more of Cameron because Summer Glau has the same screen presence as Al Pacino in Scarface or Daniel Day Lewis in Gangs of New York. Please, more screentime for Glau!
I love you guys and I love the show. Thank you Josh Friedman for casting the right people and for making THE show of my lifetime. And thank you Summer Glau for being the best. I hope you guys read this.
….ehhhhh…I pretty much love everybody who works on this show just cause…THEY WORK ON THE SHOW!!!
this is gonna be the longest week of my life.
I love this blog. The posts and the comments really add to the TV series. You all should be proud of what you’ve achieved here . . . it’s a true case study of listening to your fans.
Love, love, love the show! NOTHING gets in the way of Monday night and Sarah Connor!
Thanks for listening
I don’t have much to add, everyone said it all. It’s really fantastic that you guys have this communication level with the fans. It’s not everyone who cares, y’know? So that makes every post, every comment even more magical, in a manner of speaking.
We have people from all over the world here, everyone rooting for the same things, it’s very thrilling. So, it’s a huge ‘CONGRATS!!’ not just for the writers, but the whole TSCC cast! You rock!!
I want to thank you for putting out a show that I thought would be terrible to begin with and making it awesome. Seriously, you really hit it out of the park.
Furthermore, the sheer intelligence of the writing crew is phenomenal. This show makes you think, and that’s a rarity in our modern day television programming.
Please, if you are working with McG and the T4 people, make them follow your rules of the road. Don’t let them screw up what you’ve laid down. Are you working towards ending SCC in T4? That would be an interesting and depressing hook.
I know I won’t be answered, but if you read this just know that in heart of steel, I’m short circuiting with joy and happiness over what this show has become.
Thanks to the show for making this forum possible! These are the reasons why TV is so much better now than even 5 years ago. This provides a show to fan connection that would never have been imagined in a not so long ago time.
Also, thank you for making so many posting, pointing out the easter eggs, and giving out so many little bits of trivia. Every one - please keep up all the hard work!
i hope than the back nine will be better than the episodes of this season
last nght episode was really boring
How about those podcasts that you promised us?
And, during this short winter break would be the perfect time to break out the Cameron Baum sessions with Dr. Sherman. Come on, don’t make us wait until the dvd comes out.
Also, what’s going on with those webisodes?
I’m such a pesky fan.
And thanks to you for this great blog, one of the best (and the only) truly ACTIVE writers room blogs out there for fans to read and interact with. I love how often you guys post. It’s a great adjunct to the show. This week’s ep was superb, btw. Rock on!
Glad you guys/gals pay attention to your fans. You rock. Keep up the good work. Also when will we know if there will be a Season 3 for sure?? Please keep us updated on that information most of all. Thanks
I just like to say that Its great the producer of the show care about what we the fans think. It doesn’t happen very often so thank you for paying attention. Great show keep up the good work, come on season 3.
