Hey, thanks for tuning in to last night’s Self Made Man. Our ratings bounced up a good amount and it’s all thanks to you.
Next week continues our streak of all-new just for you with the episode Alpine Fields! Check out the totally cryptic promo for the super cool episode below.
Monday. 8PM/7PMc. FOX.
Why did you reference Ewing’s Sarcoma in last night’s episode? My daughter is currently going through treatment for this and I was wondering why you picked this type of cancer to reference?
Loved the stuff from the 20’s it was a great episode. One of my favs of both season.
Just to be clear: It doesn’t matter which night the show is on.
If new episodes were shown every night, I’d watch every night.
Wow! By far the best story to date. And lots of Summer Glau, which is always good. This show keeps getting better. The writing has been hit and miss throughout the series, but of late it has been consistency good. “Self Made Man” is now the benchmark. Keep it up guys!!
I love that Carlos Jacot will be in this episode! Loved him in “She Spies” and his many guest star roles such as “Firefly.” Major kudos for the casting director(s) for their continued scoring of excellent guest talent.
I’m glad to hear the ratings bounced back some. Every little bit counts. By the by does anyone know what this week’s ratings were?
In any case I wasn’t sure about this one at first but by the end I was sold. It was a nice side story of sorts. The idea that Cameron “sneaks” out to study is amusing. The teen angst with John and Riley was bleh, but that was only a small part. Ultimately this was an Ep about Cameron. Some interesting stuff happened and some questions raised. Like if she was only using the librarian for access to the building them why did she show concern for and warn him that his cancer was back. Why would it matter to her if he died at some point? Was he really her friend? Also the question about death and suicide. Was she implying that she thinks about it? Then of course there is the time bomb reference. Her damaged chip. There was also a reference to the 3 dots that being the 3 stars in the sky she used to calculate time.
All in all it’s getting good and I can’t wait for the next Ep.
What a Great EPISODE. The lost terminator, the twenties time line and Cameron’s hobby. The best writers in television have been recruited to T:SCC. I just watched the preview to next weeks episode and it looks like it will be another really good episode. On a side note I was at first kind of upset that I was not going to see a new episode of terminator on my Birthday (Dec 15), but today not only is it a new episode but it’s also the mid season cliffhanger. Josh you rock, the cast kicks ass and the writers are awesome. Even the guys at fox are cool as hell for that unknowing Birthday present to me.
Embrace the Paradox,
Rob
the best of the last episode was cameron interactions with eric and her fight with the T800
john and riley scenes was very bad..i’m sick of this john connor really..he needs to be in more missions and less stupids things with riley
where is derek? sarah?
summer was amazing like always does
If Fox does a good enough job airing this promo, I predict the ratings will continue to climb. This looks like a great epsiode. It has that cabin in the woods, horror flick feel. Oh, and some future scenes. Hooray!
Wow, that preview looks amazing! This has the potential to become my new favorite! Although I do really hope Derek isn’t chained to Jesse only interactions next week.
I tend to believe that Cameron was trying to be friends with the librarian. Of course she was using him for the library but i also think she is trying to learn to be human. There are lots of moments to support this.
While in actuality Cameron could never feel love; could she learn to emulate the feelings of love… She does have sensation(whatever that means) You ever see a loved one and have a sensation rush thru your body.?.?.?.?
Furthermore, Cameron worked awful hard to insist John stop seeing Riley~why? Does she really care about Riley’s safety~doubtful.
The show has been great and is getting amazing.
By the way stop bashing John keeping him away from girls i.e. humanity is not going to make him any better of a leader.
All teenagers are just that….teens……..
John is smart and strong and more than capable of holding his own.. As a teenager he is making decisions that a grown John Connor might not make but isn’t that true for every single person ever….. I’d tend to say yes.
He cannot spend 24/7 keeping himself secluded away from humanity or he woulnd’t have anything worth fighting for. Just like Cameron is always learning so is John….
T-888s have no chance against Cameron. It was cool how Cameron saw that guy Eric as a friend. At least I think she did, I just hope that Cameron doesn’t turn around and turn against everyone that would not be cool. Damaged chip or not it just wouldn’t be cool, not that it matters lol because u guys made the episode already. Loved how the T-888 was in a suit.
@Evan, i think the Machine that got sent to the 1920’s was a T-666. You see that i think when cameron looks at the picture.
@Josh, Shows how much i was paying attention i didnt make that three dots connection with the stars in the sky. Very clever.
I am loving all of the episodes and hate having to wait a week for the next one. Kinda getting sick of the John/Riley situation. But i will persist. Keep up the good work
There was soo much Cameron.
I was very happy!!!
Cameron showed some “human” quality last night!!
:DDDDD
my fav (after Allison from Palmdale)
YAY FOR RATINGS BOOSST!!
