So is this sortof thing prearranged? I’m always curious about how this kind of thing evolves - did you come to Fox and say “We have this long episode we don’t want to cut, can we arrange something?” or did Fox come to you and go “Dodge is totally pimping your work, we need you to write a long ep or two.”
Just curious, thanks for last night again, I really can’t say enough things about it.
Extended, huh? Hopefully John will use that time to realize he’s got to take control of his own life. He can’t keep letting time go by — it’s time for him to actually affect the world around him.
And he can start by getting Cameron in line: stop covering for her, and realize that his mission is more important than any one individual, be it Cameron, Derek, or even Sarah.

This is what i don’t get about FOX this show is excellent deep storys substance and creativity alot of people really enjoy this show but unfortunatly not everyone can see it live i mean the DVR numbers proved that and lets face it only 25% of america own DVR so the 1.5 mil viewers that saw T:SCC(DVR) on the premiere it was only a fraction i bet without the stiff competition like MNF and DWTS this show would of been at least and this is at least 9 or 10 mil also the demo that watch t.v on mondays isn’t as high as it is on tuesday and wednesday(sci-fi), this show is to good to be cancelled the problem is the DAY!! thats it! not the script or the actors BUT THE GODAMN DAY!! come one FOX! If you had a diamond you wouldn’t put it underneath a moving tractor would you!? this show i know for a fact can take days like tuesday or wednesday night the ratings would soar, listen i’ve said all i needed to say if fox drops this show i bet it won’t go well with the WB, the fans and to the general public who have shown that they like the show dispite not watching it live but through dvr, this show still has a glimmer of life and if fox doesn’t do something about it i can honostly say and i know millions of people are with me on this one especially the T:SCC fans that i wouldn’t want to watch FOX anymore a great show would be gone, if cancelled this would not go well for FOX….”sighs”…..

On another note, just because I can’t stand not to say anything, has Fox thought about moving TSCC to another night? Monday is really competitive so although this show is amazing and has quite a following, no one’s going to DVR football (instead of live? Really, what’s the point?) for one thing.

We love this show! In my opinion, it’s the best on TV right now. Please don’t let it get canceled. All you have to do is look around the net to see that you’ve got the fanbase. It’s just a scheduling problem.
I heard the runtime will be 52 minutes. And yes, Fox must move this show to Wednesday night.

Geez people don’t get so worked up about the ratings. I think the people at FOX are smart enough to know that the show is in a very difficult time slot, and considering what it’s up against, it gets respectable ratings. I doubt they’ll pull the plug.
If Dodge is willing to sponsor a whole episode, doesn’t that make it clear that advertisers are still on board?

With ratings far below even the network’s worst predictions, Fox could pull the plug on production for “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” as early as this week.
The network has been disappointed by “Sarah Connor’s” numbers so far this season, and some executives feel that the show is dragging down numbers for “Prison Break,” which airs as a lead-out.
“Audiences just aren’t responding to the show,” a Fox source tells SyFy Portal. “Our biggest surprise are the 18-to-49s [a key advertising demographic], those numbers are in the toilet.”

Mr Josh Friedman, is there any chance of Warner Bros picking up the serie and airing it on CW network?
Warner Bros is producing the upcoming Terminator4 movie and TSCC is produced by them for FOX, right?
Is there any chance Warner Bros managers could decide to continue producing the serie on their own? CW Network has many shows in the 3-7Million viewers Nielsen estimated statistical rating still airing after years.
Since it seems that FOX managers really don’t have a clue on how to do business and are going to pull the plug on TSCC for no real reason and actually this will only cause a direct hit to the whole franchise seriously hurting the upcoming T4 movie as well…
… can we hope that Warner Bros top managers will listen to real viewers and not base their decisions on silly and outdated Nielsen ratings that FOX managers think to be the only truth?
It’s a realy shame that a great tv serie like Terminator:Sarah Connor Chronicles gets cancelled to save a dragged on Prison Break one that they should have cancelled last season instead. Well, it seems that executive producers for Prison Break count more to FOX managers than you, which is a double shame.
Shame on FOX managers! Shame on them for what they are going to do. They don’t care about quality, they boycotted this production since the beginning, they gave you a very limited budget and they put the show in a time slot where they were sure that it would have failed. Some of FOX managers and top executives in the network clearly wanted this production to get cancelled, which is really insane.
They better not cancel this show… It’s the first I have followed since years. It touches me where it matters.
I seriously think I will cry if this gets cancelled!! This show raises so many questions and it would be a big shame if you guys never have the chance to answer them and create a great tv-series! (otherwise to me this would be Firefly all over again… )
That little article at syfyportal is just rumor based on their own analysis. I wouldn’t put much stock in it.
What an incredible show this is. It will be a mistake to cancel it based solely on ratings, at this time anyway. The strike last year and the stalled start have not done well for any program, but to allow something this smart and this well acted to simply die away is a crime. Come on Fox, grow a pair and push this show a little harder. It’s worth it.
I really doubt FOX would even think about canceling the show. They always run commercials saying its the hottest show on TV. Plus, why would they invite their own destruction? Who would would want to hasten the arrival of JUDGMENT DAY?
I don’t care about what the fox or WB people do as long as we still get to watch the show.

Oh, Hallelujah!! While Monday’s ep, Allison from Palmdale, was very good, I really REALLY missed Derek. Geez, you can only clean and load guns for so long…I envisioned him out drinking with Charley, but he’s still wanted by authorities for the Andy Goode mess.
I am SO in the mood for more back story of the resistance, particularly how a 15 year old boy survives with his younger brother in the aftermath of nuclear holocaust followed by extermination at the hands of killer robots.
Get the big guns and bring him on!!!
Episode 5 does not look too good for me I think I am going back to Arnold and hope that he returns for this show I just do not like where this show is going this not really the Sarah Connor Chronicles to me the way I thought it would be because Of Linda Hamilton and what she is to this Franchise. I feel so mad because this show is just a spin off from the movies and is trying to be better well it is not season 1 was really bad season 2 so far not too good other than episode 3 but not perfect. I am not a fan of this show at all only Terminators 1,2, and 3. I am sorry but I have to say that I am right when I say this the fans of this show are lost and confused as for me I will only hope Arnold returns.

This is an awesome show. Remember when Fox canceled Firefly - another show that has a huge following and it aired for only one season.

@Brandon Parker: I suspect you might be a studio plant. I see FOX own forums invaded by too many people bashing TSCC in order to have it cancelled. And I would think that that’s due to order coming from some FOX managers that want to kill their own show… It might be insane but that’s what I think it’s really going on here. Someone inside FOX wants the franchise to fail and obviously if it that happens he/she will get personal gain, either power or money wise or both.

JUST an opinion and a suggestion for fox…
EUROPE is still part of planet earth as far as i know!!Why can’t we,europeans,watch the show online?We’re not martians,you know?Maybe the ratings would raise!!These lame country policies can also tare a show apart and they know it!!If they were smart enough to realise that…!!Well,my opinion,of course!!
Second,they COULD put the show ON another slot,because monday at 8 PM (or any other day at the same time),at least in europe,everyone is having dinner and consequently misses the show!!
