While we certainly can’t advocate for other shows on other networks (hey, we’re team players that way), thanks for another(!) swell Sarah Connor shoutout to our friends at that banging Monday night sitcom. You guys are the best, if only you weren’t on at such an inconvenient time…

  1. let’s kill em

  2. It’s cool that their giving Sarah Connor a shoutout, but boy… that show is bad. I truly don’t understand how that show can get better ratings than The Sarah Connor Chronicles. SCC’s problem is that it’s to smart for people. Think about some of the most successful shows on television (Dancing with the Stars, American Idol). The required IQ needed to view them is less than 50. But, the ratings are equal to, or greater than 10 million viewers per episode. It’s sad, but true.

  3. well even if that is the case, i sure hope they don’t intentionally dumb-down the episodes.

i’ve never seen a show like this on TV before, and I like it for exactly that reason.

  4. fabrice.. We’re in a depressed economy, we’re still fighting two wars, it’s difficult times and some (a lot) people would rather come home and eat their dinner and veg and watch something where they can be entertained and not think. It’s all understandable.

BTW the show that had the emergency evacuation bag… it’s actually a pretty funny show. Not better than SCC though. Nothing is better than SCC!

  5. I meant Corey.

  6. Is there a possibility to move TSCC to another day? I think Mondays is a hard day to dispute against so many shows.

BTW I also enjoy the “sarah connor’s emergency evacuation bag”.

And the line “You guys are the best, if only you weren’t on at such an inconvenient time…” was kind of sweet and funny…

  7. For me the show is on at a very convenient time as it is the only show I faithfully watch. I have always been a HUGE fan of the Terminator movies. Granted, T:SCC variates a little from the movies, but there are not that noticeable, to me anyway. My personal opinion is that the all the makers of this show have done an excellent job at making the shows, they keep you intrigued, and the special effects are spectacular. The actors do a phemnomenal job and keep you entranced. My only question is how does Lena Heady pull off the American accent so well? That can’t be easy. Good job, guys!

  8. “28 September” So, not being a big TV watcher; i d/l from the internet, what is this other show being referred to?

Brenda: listen to all the Aussies on Battlestar Galactica; they make it sound easy also!

Hope the show lasts for many seasons!

  9. I really like Terminator’s current times slot, for the sole reason that just about everything else is reality garbage. An even if it wasn’t, the show would still be the only one I still watch while it airs instead of on my DVR. It’s THAT good.

  11. Well, probably we’re not allowed to write the show’s name here (that’s why its name is not on the post either), but speaking in riddles, is a sitcom about nerds…

  12. “29 September” Thanks Rafael, “Google is your friend”…lol.

  13. Ok, I love this show but i just want to call the attention to some details of continuity… is nothing related to the story but some normal action that doesn’t make any sense, for exemple everytime some one gets hurt in the next scene they do everything normally (that happened a lot in the first two episodes) and then the third one two days after they dont even have a scar???? I know is not something really important but this details make everything more rela.. so im just giving my opinion…

  14. I am interested in writing for TSCC. I am a published science fiction novelist with 3 books in print. I also have a Bachelors Degree in film and TV from NYU Tisch.

If any producers or writers are reading this, please contact me at kennethengwriter@yahoo.com. I would appreciate it.

  15. I have to totally agree that the main problem with T:SCC is that you have to have at least a little intelligence to realise how amazing and profound the story is. Hopefully once the show gets out of the US to places like the UK and Japan it will do much better ratings wise. I’m not saying there aren’t smart people in the US… far from it, but just seems like proportionately less of them (hence the extraordinary level of organised religion). Why would anyone want a cheap laugh, let alone watch so-called reality TV when they could be questioning existentialism, watching the drama of desperate human survival during war in conjunction with kick ass action, super cool guys and sexy (and super cool) female fighters. I don’t get it, are so many people that closed minded in the US….?

  16. Patricia on continuity: I don’t think there is a continuity problem with wound healing, I watched it carefully, if you take into account the amount of time that passes between scenes, sometimes days and the fact that the Terminators heal very quickly, I think it is accountable, John Conner even mentions the fact when talking to Cameron.
