Just over two weeks to go until our premiere and we are rolling along nicely, in the midsts of production on episode eight. Some journalists and bloggers received screeners of the first episode, so reviews should begin pouring in the near future. Either way, this season is looking awesome, trust us — things are building. Beyond our amazing core cast, some returning actors to look forward to include Dean Winters, Sonya Walger, Jonathan Jackson, and more.

In the meantime, why not chime in with your favorite moments of season one? What do you think will happen in season two? Where are our characters are headed?

Check out all the T:SCC sites on the blogroll to the right. Put together by friends and fans and FOX…

  1. “some returning actors to look forward to include Dean Winters, Sonya Walger, Jonathan Jackson, and more.”

    Awesome - more Kyle!

  2. [...] folks over on the Production blog just alerted us to some returning familiar faces! Click to spoil [...]

  3. Sonya Walger!! Yes! I so hoped to see a scene where Charley tries to explain all this stuff to his wife.

Favorite moments of Season 1… Cameron’s grief counseling, Cameron’s nail polishing and talking about “effectiveness”, Cameron and birth/built days, Cameron and Morris and dead guys in the trunk. Which reminds me, is Morris in Season 2? Please let him be in Season 2.

  4. Awesome! can’t wait to see Kyle/Jonathan Jackson again! I love him :)))

  5. Kyle will be back?!?!!!!!
Oh this season will be SO GOOD!!!!
ps: Is that chola girl coming back too? she was cool!

  6. I am most looking forward to Cameron’s origin story in episode 4. Also, I hope Chola is returning. She was great in season one. She could be a shoulder to lean on for Cameron, while Riley becomes the new girl in John’s life. Lastly, I want to know more about the mysterious past(err, future)between Derek and Cameron.

  7. Can’t wait to get started with season two. Wish it was just one week away instead of two weeks

It’s hard to choose favorites from all the scenes I liked in season one. John & Derek seeing Kyle as a young boy was great.

Cameron and Vick’s fight in Gnothi Seauton, and I also really liked the scene when Cameron took the diamond into Sarah. “I know what the Tin Man is….” It was like she showed feelings, maybe a little bit hurt. That was a nice moment between Cameron & Sarah.

The scene with Dr. Silberman lying on the ground laughing and rain falling down on him while the camera pulled up and away. Awesome.

My list of favorite scenes would be much too long to post here. There were many.

  8. Pilot:

-”You might want to put those back in the Holster”

The first of many Sarah quips.

-Ellison telling Charlie about Sarah, so many good lines…

“Did he look that way to you? Leader of a scrappy band of Rebels? Luke Skywalker type?”

    Gnothi Seauton:

    -Dogs barking, as Cameron leaves..
“Is there something I should know about your friend?”
    “Cat Person.”

    -Camerons fight with Vick
-Cameron smashing through the windshield of
a car, and her “Please remain calm” line. Only Summer Glau could pull that off.

    The Turk:

-Sarah and Andy Goode at the phone store, and their “meet cute” dialog.

    -Cam and John at school

    “I’m a bitch-whore. I made a new friend”
“Did she call you a bitch … whore?
    “No. She cried.”
    “Wait. What?”

    so funny

    Queens Gambit:

-chess tournement visual style (cute japanese girl playing against dimitri, large screen TV’s displaying the players and board, announcer keeping the audience informed, airforce generals
watching the action [adding tension over the military contract the winner got]). Such a great scene!

    Dungeons and Dragons:

-CGI of the blasted LA landscape was movie quality

    -Charlie to Cameron:
“Here you are, carving up this guy…into chum!”
    Cameron:
    “He’s not a guy, he’s a scary robot”

    HAHAHA awesome dialog, as always!

    The Demon Hand:

-Derek and Cameron pancake staredown (great acting!)

-I Heard Summer got to pick the music Cameron danced to. What a haunting piece by Chopin!

    Vicks Chip:

-the wink by Cameron to John
-John: “You can’t fight City Hall”
Derek: “Whoever said that didn’t have as much plastique as we do”

    What He Beheld:

-Morris to Cameron: “Is that your car?”
“No, it belongs to the dead guy I stuffed in the trunk!”

-Sarahs’ “Lord of the flies” monolouge as Ellison and Charlie take in the
    FBI agent slaughter field

  9. So.Much.Love. for season 1 -
The list would be huge if I rattled off all my favorite moments. I can, however, tell you my favorite episode was Gnothis Seauton (there wasn’t a single moment in that episode I didn’t want to propose marriage to) and my favorite sequence of the season was in D&D: the Charley departure scene followed by the gun cleaning and Sarah and John hug. So good. So so good. Another moment that ranks right up there is Sarah and John in John’s room in the New Mexico house.

    As for season 2 -
Returning Charley, Michelle and Kyle is fabulous news. And I’ll echo other posters and hope the “and more” includes Sabrina Perez. It might be weird if she ever talked though ;)

Here’s my Samson & Delilah prediction:

    *boom*

SARAH: That’s odd. I didn’t tell Cameron to get exploding candles for the cake. Sarakissian, what are you doing here? Ever heard of knocking? BTW, um, do you have The Turk by any chance? Ouch. Hey, it was Derek that dragged your little girl into that alley, not me. Ouch.

    SARKISSIAN: *Choke*

JOHN: Leave my mom alone. *Kick*

SARAH: Cameron why are you pointing a gun at John?

    *window crash* ouch.

*Spontaneous house combustion* (old wiring, you know - shorted out by one too many hot waterheaters)

JOHN: Hey there’s Cameron in the canal. Run her down!

SARAH: Damn. Missed. Whoa! *crash* *roll* John run! *stomp* ouch.

JOHN: Yo Cam! Leave my mom alone!

    *chasing-n-running-n-stuff*

SARAH: Nice minivan. Hmm. I wonder if Charley would like it. I could kill Michelle easy. Mad combat skillz.

JOHN: Mom quit daydreaming. Look out!

    *crash* ouch. ouch. *run*

JOHN: Cameron doesn’t have a soul and she never will. She’ll never think to go in a chapel. Hey a HUGE neon crucifix. What a coincidence. I’m a savior, he’s a savior… I’ll electrify it just in case Cam shows up.

DEREK: I look GOOOOOOOD in these fireman’s pants don’t I? Also I think I had too much coffee today.

CHARLEY: Let me put it this way: I’ve beheld worse. Hey what’s that hard drive in your hand and where’s Sarah?

DEREK: This thing? It belonged to the boss of the guy I killed and it’s hopefully going to help us find the thing the other guy I killed made before it gets angry and kills people. BTW, you’re a liability. I might kill you later. Do you happen to have any C4 on you? Sarah’s long gone man. She could be a few blocks away by now. No use looking for her.

*radio static* car accident a few blocks away *radio static*

CHARLEY: Let’s go. Hey there’s that very scary robot heading into a chapel. Let’s ask her if she knows where Sarah and John are.

CAMERON: *zap* Do you believe in Jesus?

    SARAH: *rolls eyes*

SARAH: Thanks for bandaging my arm, Charley. *longing look*

    CHARLEY: You’re welcome *longing look*

DEREK: You two are creeping me out. PS - I look GOOOOOOOD in these fireman’s pants.

SARAH: John we have to kill her. If a guard dog fools me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again. By the way, whose kitchen is this? Pancake mix. Awesome. You hungry?

JOHN: But I NEEEEEED her. She saved my life. I also really need a hair cut.

SARAH: Yeah well you’re not getting your hair cut until you deal with your wacky cyborg.

    JOHN: Fine! *crosses arms*

SARAH: I have an idea. Let’s find an abandoned warehouse, wedge her between 2 cars and you can yank her chip out.

JOHN: Mom, how are we going to find an abandoned warehouse at this hour?

SARAH: Puh-lease, there’s one in every town. You just have to look for a fire burning in an old oil drum. Come on.

    JOHN: I’ll drive.

    SARAH: It’s a stick.

    JOHN: Nevermind.

    *wedge* *chip removal*

JOHN: Now can I get my hair cut?

DEREK: John we have to destroy that chip. She’s a liar. She’s twisted. I *know* her if you, uh, know what I mean *wink wink*

JOHN: No! *lights flare* Get back before I burn you or something!

DEREK: Hey… nephew… buddy… put the flare down. Who took you to see your 5-year-old daddy? Me. And that was good ice cream, right?

JOHN: No. I don’t wanna. It’s time for me to be a badass on my own terms. It’s time for me to live MY life.

SARAH: John give me that. If you’re going to be a badass, you need to learn to use a handgun. Here take my Glock, I have 16 more. Now aim the sites at your uncle and when you’re ready, exhale slowly and squeeze the trigger, don’t pull it.

    *pop pop pop pop pop*

SARAH: Well, we need to work on your aim. Put Cameron’s chip back in and let’s go back to that house and make some pancakes.

CHARLEY: You people are nuts. I’m outta here.

SARAH: John! Your pancakes are getting cold! I think I like this new house, I’m moving in.

JOHN: Whose bathroom is this? Hey, an electric razor. *buzzzzzzzz* Dayam! I look GOOOOOOOOOOOD with short hair. I’ll bet I can get me a girlfriend next week. I hate this new house. I’m moving out.

SARAH: What the hell did you do to your hair? You’re not even the John I know anymore.

CAMERON: He’s the John I know.

    SARAH: *rolls eyes*

SARAH VO: If I ever get my hands on a time machine, I’m sending John to live with his father for while.

    Fade Out.

  10. HA!
    allergygal is a comedian.

  11. Wow everyone’s already listed some great stuff. I’ve been doing the rewatch this week on Fox…loving it! My fave eps remain the same this time around (in order of most favorite and down): Dungeons & Dragons, Demon Hand, What He Beheld and The Turk.

During this rewatch it strikes me harder how thoughtful and hard-sci-fi the show is…mainly via Sarah’s voiceovers.

Absolute favorite thing: every single interaction between Kyle and Cameron is priceless, especially the pancakes/”I know who you are” exchange…and the ballet at the end of Demon Hand. Great, great tension between those two.

Also, the suggestion that Cameron has been programmed by futureJohn for missions that she is not allowed to share with presentJohn and Sarah. Love that.

Cannot wait to see the massive Johnny-Cash-fueled end sequence Sunday night!

  12. Really looking forward to the new season. I don’t know what’s in the future for this season itself, but I absolutely love it. The food for thought that I’d like to offer the writer’s crew is this: “Sometimes they go bad. Nobody knows why.” Thanks to all of you for the wonderful entertainment provided… Incredible.

  13. Oops…I meant to say DEREK, not Kyle. D’oh.

  14. My favorite scenes: Derek smiling while he is running his feet over the grass, Derek and Kyle in the future, Derek and Cameron snarking at each other, Derek showing John his father playing ball.

What I want to see: More Derek and Kyle scenes, Derek trying to learn to live in the present,Terminators getting destroyed.
