Thanks to everyone who came out to support us at Comic-Con this past weekend. Our panel was a lot of fun and it was great to meet some of our biggest fans over the course of the weekend.
Josh moderated the panel (which was so packed that unfortunately nearly four thousand people were turned away), and had only two rules: no mention of “Linda Hamilton” or “River.” But Lena, Summer, Thomas, Richard, Brian, Garret, and Shirley did give insight into their characters and what’s coming up for them in season two. We also premiered the exclusive first look, season two, sizzle reel to the boisterous room of thousands.
Couldn’t make it down to SD? Don’t worry, here’s the play-by-play of the T:SCC panel courtesy of the TV Addict. Oh, and did you hear about John Wirth’s big announcement? (Beware, spoiler). Also, the Sarah Connor Society posted a video of the panel and Entertainment Weekly has a few charming things to say.

Since I couldn’t be there, I’m just going to pretend the panel is still assembled and I have the mic:
Are you going to revisit what happened in that creepy basement in 2029?
Will we see Andy Goode/Billy Wisher again?
Charley isn’t going to die is he?
Will Ellison and Sarah finally meet this season (in a moment when he’s not drugged and about to catch on fire)?
Won’t Cromartie have trouble getting around with the same face in a city where he’s now being actively hunted by police and FBI?
Why did John withhold from his mom that Derek knows he’s his uncle? Is it going to be a big deal or something when Sarah finds out that Derek knows?
Is John going to find out that Derek killed Andy Goode? If so, how will strain things between them?
Are we going to get more flashback moments like at the beginning of Queen’s Gambit?
Will we see Danny Dyson again (perhaps following in his father’s footsteps)?
And now for my nerd question…
Why did it require 6 jet engines to power the time displacement equipment in 2029, yet there was no visible power source for the one in the bank vault in the pilot? Am I to believe there were jet engines underground or something?
Has Shirley Manson not seen the fish tank in it in Catherine’s office? (hint: fishtanks, especially ones filled with exotic fish or AN EEL = bad guy).
Josh - thanks for no stunt casting. I would hate seeing former movie cast members show up. It really would distract from the TSCC world.
I wasn’t one of the lucky ones in attendance but at least we could see the video from the convention.
Really looking forward to the second season. It’s just a GREAT show!
Thanks you guys & gals……
Unfortunately I could not get in the panel — but I was one of the LUCKY ones to get the entire cast’s autograph on the promo poster for the DVD. Everyone was very nice and it was a great treat that is now framed on my wall.
Thanks guys (6 months later)!!!
