The Guardian has something special for you — a live web chat with J.J. Abrams.

Friday 10 October at 6pm (That’s your local time).

For those of you in the US, that translates to 1pm EST/10am PST.

Submit questions now! Since you’ve only technically seen the Pilot on Sky1, then please limit your questions as not to spoil it for those who haven’t watched past the first episode.

If you haven’t noticed, we’ve been adding Walter Bishop’s Lab Notes with every episode on the Fringe site. (You can find all of them in the Recaps for each episode too.)

In the Lab Notes for “The Arrival,” there are at least nine cultural references. Do you think you can name them all?

We’ll give you a few days before we post the nine answers. And maybe you’ll find more than we knew. Get to it!

UPDATE: Here are the answers!

Pass the time by testing you knowledge of FRINGE!

Our friends at Famous Faces & Funnies, a comic book store in West Melbourne, FL, have been giving away FRINGE swag to customers who can correctly answer FRINGE trivia questions. See how well do you do with their questions (and some of our own):

1.  What is the name of the big corporation in the show?

2.  What did Olivia say the tank in the dumpster smelled like?

3.  What is the cow’s name?

4.  What is the name of Walter Bishop’s former lab partner?

5.  What crazy line does Walter Bishop exclaim “Let’s make some ________!”

6.  How much did Peter Bishop agree to do the work for in Farsi?

7. What was Loraine Daisy craving in the opening scene of episode 2?

8. What gland would the killer remove from his victim’s brain and why?

9. Walter remembers where he parked his car and he and Peter go to find it. What kind of car is it?

10. What image was burned into the killer’s last victim’s retina?

I’ll post answers tomorrow.

Are these questions too easy for you? Feel free to reply with some of your own!

About the pilot? Well, we’ve got exec producers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman ready to answer them in a podcast!

Here’s what I want to know:
- Who is Dr. William Bell?
- What are those symbols that show up before they go to commercial?

But I’ll leave it to you guys to submit if you have the same issues. So post yours in the comments section. If the guys select them, then your name and question will be in the podcast.
