Zap2it does a minute-by-minute recap of the panel:
4:19- A question about the Peter/Olivia relationship is asked and John says, “I think I should be asked that question as the father.” He thinks that all romance should be outlawed in the lab, meaning no relationship between Peter/Olivia, Peter/Astrid or Peter/Gene. Yes, the cow. Somehow I don’t see the show ever going in that direction.
EW covers what the alternative reality means for our beloved characters:
(R)umors of the demise of Charlie Francis (Kirk Acevedo) were “entirely premature,” Pinkner said, so don’t believe what the actor’s Facebook page says; the alternate reality introduced in the season finale last spring will allow return engagements for characters previously thought dead (we’ll see you soon Jared, aka David Robert Jones!). And Leonard Nimoy will be back in the season two opener to play Massive Dynamics’ mysterious CEO William Bell, a bit of news that elicited a huge roar from the crowd who packed one of Comic-Con’s largest venues.
Get rid of the tweet crap broadcasted during the tv show. It is annoying, distracting, and useless.
Episode aired 9.3/09
Stop airing Tweets. It detracts from the actual show whether its a repeat or not! I have not seen this episode and yet I find myself reading the tweets instead of paying attention to the actual plot of the show. It’s such a distraction! PLEASE STOP! Tweets do now help the the show. It detracts from the show and understanding what may or may not be going on. Airing tweets on the screen lowers the integrity of the show to that of the level of a reality show (like Jerry Springer), which I know Fringe is not! Please stop airing tweets. For those of us that haven’t seen these episodes it’s detracting from understanding he story. It’s ridiculous and uncalled for! please STOP!!! I have stopped watching the show tonight because the “tweets” are interfering with my understanding of the plot line and are interfering with my enjoyment of the show which I loved last season. Keep this up and you’ll lose all you’re ratings.
Please take that crap off the show.It is stupid, irratating and rude. Who want to watch the show with those comments coming up every second. If this keeps up I will not be watching this show/. Who ever thought of this dumb stunt should be fired.
How do I get these anoying blogs off the bottomn third of my screen…No offense meant but I don’;t give two hoops in Hell what you guys think. I would rather be able to see the program video!!
It is VERY annoying watching the twittering going on, on the tv screen. I would much rather watch the show, but since I can’t, I’m changing the channel.
GET RID OF THE TWITTER THING!!!
I love the show but I will watch something else if it doesn’t stop.
i COULD CARE LESS WHAT PEOPLE ARE TWEETING…
I HATE IT!!!!!!
Your tweetering on FRINGE is the most annoying thing I have ever seen on a tv show. Part of my screen is cut off from all the “notes.” Please STOP!
Tried to watch tonights edition but couldn’t because of tweets….annoying; besides who cares. Won’t be back until they’re gone. What a bone head idea.
Whoever thought it was a good idea to block 2/3 of screen with inane tweets by twits
should rethink whether they have thoughts at all. Will in future tune out immediately if it happens again. Love the show.
“over 30″ do not tweet. Am not twit.
What with the twitts typing on my screen? I love Fringe, but can’t stand the mindless crap being typed while I’m trying to watch one of my favorite. Type it someplace else for someone who appreciates it. Thanks!
That was a terrible idea to have twitter on the screen during the show, Fringe on 9/3/09. Very distracting and annoying. Please don’t do it again.
I was so looking forward to finally seeing a Frindge episode after such a long break. I set my DVR to tape it, and tonight I find worst thing possible, Twitter blocking my view, and stealing my attention from the show, I watched 5min and deleted it. If I wanted to follow that chat I would do it at my computer. The only thing I want to read on my TV screen are sub-titles if it is in a forgein language. Make Twitter buy a commercial, not over lay it on top of the show.
If that is going to go on in the new season, you just lost a viewer.
I am so happy to see that there are so many others who did not like the “tweets” during last weeks show. I’ve became a fan of this show from day-1, and found myself not wanting to watch the show if the the tweets continue, they are utterly annoying.
I understand the network’s desire to hop on a trend to send ratings over the top for the show, but please reserve the tweets for those who want to participate on-line only, and leave the TV viewing audience in peace (pretty please?).
Again, LOVE the show…..HATE the tweets during the show.
Thanks!
Steve
I HATED THE TWEET CRAP!!!! Fringe is one of my favourite shows, but I will turn to another show if I see this nonsense again. Distracting, annoying, and stupid. I will let the show’s sponsors know how people feel if this shows up again, repeat or not. Please don’t do it again. EVER!
This is gonna sound dumb but I turned on the tv in the middle of the episode where all the “tweeting” was going on. At first, it annoyed me. But then I thought it really was the actors tweeting! I had seen the episode so I wasn’t too annoyed. I assumed they were just doing that because it was a repeat. But hell, if they allow tweets to accompany the new season……!!
I like the tweets for reruns or recaps, but wouldn’t like it on a new episode
