If you haven’t noticed, we’ve been adding Walter Bishop’s Lab Notes with every episode on the Fringe site. (You can find all of them in the Recaps for each episode too.)

In the Lab Notes for “The Arrival,” there are at least nine cultural references. Do you think you can name them all?

We’ll give you a few days before we post the nine answers. And maybe you’ll find more than we knew. Get to it!

UPDATE: Here are the answers!

THE OBSERVER has arrived!

Holy Jalapeño Mr. Bald Man!  Last night we were introduced to one of the oddest yet coolest characters TV has had to offer in a while…THE OBSERVER (played with eerie perfection by actor Michael Cerveris) !  Who knew a man of few words would have such an impact on the story and interesting connection to the Bishop Boys?!

Will he return in future episodes?  Will we get more of the backstory on the Observer?

What did you think of last night’s episode?   Did The Observer freak you out?  Were you shocked by the return of Agent Scott?  Are you suddenly craving a root-beer float?
