.. or is it? Whether it be passengers melting on airplanes, people frozen in place, a robotic arm or 3-D Floating letters, the producers of FRINGE are obviously trying to create a very visually shocking yet stimulating viewing experience. So what are your likes and dislikes of the the FRINGE set? Are you more (or less) impressed by the set design or visual effects?

I think the 3D letters are cool, but a friend of mine said they’re very annoying and distracting. The ways each episode starts is awesome too. There’s something shocking and unexpected that happens, and it just gets the ball rolling from the get-go. The sets are frequently a major part of creating the excitement and tension for the rest of the episode. The sets in other words, are great.
I love the show, and the way it’s written. It’s been a while since I’ve been hooked on a show, and I’m loving it! I could do without the 3d text for place settings, it’s hard to read and annoying.
Thank god Sci-Fi has a new (loosely based on high impact accurate science) since (yes Ill say it here) The _ Files… Since the last movie I actually spent money on watching it … At least I found my new “fix” my new sci-fi drug called Fringe !
I am truly hooked on this one. Many years have passed since I kept an eye on the clock waiting for a show to come on. This is the BEST Sci-Fi adventure yet. I do like the the 3-d text, though it can be distracting, I just read it and move on to the rest of the frame…..scanning for usually missed details or clues for what’s next. Close to The _Files on steroids but a more interesting storyline that we were waiting for….fresh and enthralling !! Definately My Sci-Fi “FIX”
I actually find the 3D letters quirky and cool. I can easily picture them becoming part of a Family Guy joke. It’s different and unique, following suit with everything else about this show.
