We have several questions after last night’s CRAZY episode!
“If you’ve read my file then you know the truth about Peter’s medical history.” - Dr. Walter Bishop
What is Walter referring to? Is there something wrong with Peter? When will we find out?
Cloning/Closing Scene - The last couple of seconds of the episode were freaky! Why were there more than one of the same body?
Where do you think the writers are taking us? Let the guessing games begin…
My personal view is Peter is was a successful version of the “killer” froom last nights episode. And the three bodies, maybe there is another on out there. Did you notice when the killer died (grew old) he kept repeat something to the affect “He called me son even thought he wasn’t my father” Well I have noticed that Peter never calls Walter Dad is this because he has been estranged from him for 17 years or is it because he is not his real father. I mean the “bad” doctor in last nights episode to one of the “experiments” in as his own. Why couldn’t Dr. Bishop do the same.
There are definately some questions raised about Peter’s “origins”. And closing the episode on a view of more bodies presumably being “grown” in a lab definately leaves this to come back again in a future episode. Awesome!
Also, the way they ended the episode with the view of the bodies is exactly the way they would end episodes of The X-Files. I love the X-Files, and I’m loving Fringe just the same thus far. All the comparison to The X-Files is definately a compliment, and should be taken as such. To measure up to such a great show, and from the start, is a True accomplishment!
I strongly agree with Eric’s comment regarding Peter’s medical history. My thoughts exactly.
In regards to the “clone army” - I think Massive Dynamic is trying to perfect the process. Maybe cheap labor? Who knows. Looking forward to more.
I was confused about the last couple of seconds also. yea i really want to no what happened to Peter or what is medical record is. He seems fine to me but lets see what happens.
I had similar thoughts! If you looked closely, I believe that the three bodies kept in the sealed beds were identical to the man who died. Maybe those bodies were kept alive because they were constantly hooked up to some sort of machine that was able to product the chemicals of a pituitary gland. Maybe the Professor kept one of his “sons” alive and became attatched to him, but his illness of a prolonged prevention of death was wearing on him, making it “necessary” to find another means of survival.
As for Walter and Peter….I don’t think anything is wrong with Peter, but it is a possibility that he too was not a natural product of consumation. It made me think of embryonic stem cell research and the production of human organs from a few cells and tissues…perhaps Peter was born in Walter’s lab…..hello Dr. Frankenstein!
I share similar thoughts with joe, eric, and amber. I believe that massive dynamics is behind this research due to the fact that they can amass armies. What better way to make an army than to make it right in your own kitchen. As for peter, it could be that walter did have the breakthrough but due to his own sense of selective memory loss he simply doesn’t remember it and so the breakthrough was lost with only one successful patient. I present a question though. Who was the one that paid dr penrose to continue his research? Was it the director of massive dynamics personally or could it be someone else?
I agree with Eric,Joe,Amber and Noah. I wonder if Peter knows somehow that he is different which could be the reason he stayed away from Walter so long. And i havn’t picked up on any talk about his mother did he actually have one……
