Steve’s back for a second hour of the show. In the previous hour he won $5,000 and he’s about to play for $10,000. He picks 3rd Grade Measurements.

What unit of measurement is abbreviated “oz.”

Steve is pretty sure he knows so he answers without consulting his 5th grader. Jacob has to sit to Steve picks Marki as his next helper. Next up is the $25,000 question. Marki advises him to take 2nd Grade Health.

True or False: The human shoulder is a ball and socket joint.

Steve is again sure that he knows the answer and locks in. He hopes that if he has it wrong, Marki can save him. Marki’s answer is the same as his so the chance for a save is eliminated but fortunately for Steve, he gets it right.

For $50,000, Steve chooses 3rd Grade Life Science.

Which one of these is a mammal?
A. Sea horse
B. Sea Lion
C. Sea urchin

It takes Steve a little while to figure out this one but since it’s so easy, he locks in his answer and earns $50,000. Jeff makes Steve look at the board to see what his next dollar amount is. He sees that it’s $100,000 and Jeff tells him that that is the furthest anyone has gone without cheating. Marki sits so Alana gets picked. Steve picks 2nd Grade World Geography.

Which continent is the least populated?

Steve knows that there are 7 continents and narrows it down to his answer. He gets it right and Jeff tells him that he’s playing for $175,000. Steve tells Jeff that if he passes the $300,000 mark, he will bust a back spin on the floor. He picks 4th Grade Social Studies as his $175,000 question.

Since the late 1930’s, what calendar date has been designated for the inauguration for a United States President?

Steve looks a little worried so he decides to use his peek. He locks in his answer and after Jeff jerks him around a little, the answer is revealed and he makes $175,000.

Alana takes a seat and Spencer comes up to help him out. Steve still has his copy and save left. He picks 5th Grade Astronomy for $300,000 breakdance questions.

In the initials of the Federal agency knows as NASA, what word does the first “A” stand for?

He figures it out on his own and locks in his answer. Spencer’s answer is “American” but since that is so obviously wrong, it is too wrong to consider as a save. Jeff also reveals Jacob’s answer which is “Alliance” which is also wrong. Jeff reveals that Steve has the correct answer and Steve does his breakdancing move in the middle of the stage to which Jeff exclaims, “Dude, awesome!”

Jeff asks Steve if he will do the worm if he wins $500,000. Steve agrees and for $500,000 in 5th Grade US History.

What Revolutionary leader wrote the influential?
pamphlet “Common Sense” in 1776?

Spencer locks in his answer but Steve is feeling flushed and needs to take a lot of time to answer the question. He breathes heavily and keeps saying “Oh boy” over and over again. Steve decides to go for it and gets it right. He does a worm on the floor and prepares himself for the million dollar question.

Jeff reveals the category for the million dollar question: Astronomy.

After some goading by Jeff and what seems like an eternity, Steve decides to go for it.

The million dollar question is:

What was the name of the first satellite put into orbit by the United States?

Steve goes through all the possible and locks in Mercury. Unfortunately, that’s incorrect and Steve has to go home with $25,000.
